I propose that we use some of the effective ideas utilized on the ATMA beta test site.

I would like to see a less generic logo for META than an orange and black butterfly.  I assume that this is a temporary logo.  The colors orange and black symbolize Halloween to many people, and I think that transformative media needs a chakra color that is higher up on the tone scale than second chakra (which is orange).  For example, blue is good because it represents communication, devotion to ideals, commitment, etc.  I propose that META use blue as part of its graphic design.  Green is also a good color--the color of the heart chakra, as well as health and prosperity and sustainability.  If we want to embody higher ideals, the the 6th and 7th chakra colors of purple and indigo work well too.  Let's keep in mind that the colors we use signify our purpose as well as the words we use!  I think a masthead artwork that shows media symbols--like some of the artwork on the original ATMA site at www.ATMAMedia.com would be nice--because they are very burnished and polished and high tech looking symbols.  Please check them out.

The next item would be the categories of MEDIA FORUM--which we can call META FORUM or keep MEDIA FORUM where we can use similar categories of articles, commentary, film reviews,etc.  Then, of course, when memberships flow in we will need a Directory of members as well as a MEDIA STORE to sell their products.

Under Resources, please add the category of Distribution Opportunites. We also need Member and Industry Events categories.  Peter can transfer some or all of the ideas used on the ATMA site, and I can help transfer content if needed.  I hope this will be open for discussion soon if we want to launch META by October, 2009.  I would like to work with Peter on the creation of the META web site.  My vision is to have a very content-rich site with lots of member news and recognition, positive and inspiring news articles and commentary, as well as sidebars on the home page for Member of the Month Profiles and things like transformative film rental portals, etc.  I have the time and energy to create and manage content for such an exciting site!
